Dr. Brett Burstein obtained his medical degree from McGill University (2010), graduating from the combined M.D/Ph.D program with a doctorate from the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics (2008). He completed both his residency training in General Pediatrics (2013) and fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (2015) at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, where he has since been a Pediatric Emergency physician and Trauma Team Leader. Dr. Burstein is currently completing a MPH degree from the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health in Clinical Epidemiology. His primary research interest is in the management of febrile young infants and work in this area has received a Professional Development Grant from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, as well as national awards from the Canadian Pediatric Society and the Association of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Disease of Canada.

Lily Hechtman, MD

Lily Hechtman, MD FRCP, is a professor of psychiatry and pediatric and Director of research for the Division of Child Psychiatry at McGill University. She has been involved in research in ADHD for many years and pioneered some of the first controlled long term prospective follow up studies as well as multimodal treatment studies. She has also developed Cognitive Behavioral interventions for adult and adolescents with ADHD. At the McGill University Health Center (Montreal Children’s Hospital), she heads an clinical outpatient psychiatry ADHD TEAM which specialized in Children and Adolescents with ADHD and various comorbid conditions.
